MBCC Classes

Medowie Baptist Community Church offers numerous classes/courses that are aimed at our local community.

Leadership Training

In order to accomplish our vision and mission, we recognise the need to equip and invest into potential leaders, raising them up to accomplish the call of God on their lives.

This training is open to all interested in developing leadership skills and styles.

Discovery

Our Discovery Course is a FREE six week new Christian's course that is fun and informative. It is a must for anyone who is just getting started in the NEW groove of life with Jesus. Check the next intake date and get your registration form.

DNA

DNA is a free course that runs for four weeks for anyone who wants to grow in character and leadership. It is also a pre-requisite for those who aspire to serve in any form of leadership at MBCC.

Partnership

Do you want to become a Partner/Member of our church and be involved in its growth? Paul wrote: "I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel…" Phil.1:3-6. It is a 1 hour course that runs once a term. DNA is a pre-requisite.

Journeys

A free five week DVD journey exploring the Christian faith through real people, amazing stories and changed lives. Designed to introduce interested 'spectators' to Christianity, utilising a unique blend of stories of faith, told by regular people whose lives have been impacted by God. Journeys features powerful interviews about spiritual encounters, and shows how faith works at 'street level'.

The course covers the following key topics:

Week 1 - Is there a spiritual side to me?
Week 2 - If God and heaven exist, what are they like?
Week 3 - Does this faith thing work in real life?
Week 4 - Does God have real power to change things?
Week 5 - Crossing the line – what's that like?

Life Stories

This five week video-based course makes powerful links between the experiences of Christians and the pages of the Bible. And there's an incredible bonus – each week's teaching features insightful and revealing interviews with one of the world's most respected and widely-read Christian authors- Philip Yancey.

Explore what it means to walk with God in the 21st century by examining the real-life stories of Christians from around the world, as they grapple with life's challenges through their faith in Jesus Christ. Life Stories tackles the tough questions: Why should I forgive people who hurt me? Where is God when it hurts? Loving others- what's the point? How do I make good choices? And does prayer really work?
