Hunter Connect has been established to support families in our region that have children suffering from neurological development disorders such as Autism, Asperger, and ADHD.

The services offered by Hunter Connect to such families will include:

·         Regular meetings aimed at encouraging and equipping parents to better assist their children with special needs.  Speakers of all relevant disciplines (such as Psychologists, occupational and speech therapists, experienced parents, and others) have been invited to speak at many of these meetings.

·         Access to the Hunter Connect Family Network, allowing parents of children to contact one another.

·         Regular information updates on relevant services, workshops and funding available to assist families.

·         Occasional family days where the whole family can be supported at minimal cost.  Fun for the whole family while allowing parents to connect with others experiencing similar trails.

·         Prayer support for the whole family.  Reports have already been received from parents who have benefited from this service.

·         Access to all the other family friendly services offered by Medowie Baptist Community Church (such as youth programmes, counselling services and many other support groups)
