MBCC Women's Ministry exists to champion the cause of womanhood. Women are to be among the most incredibly capable, compassionate, big-spirited, nurturing, lovely and talented of God's creations. We have three specific goals in order to fulfill our mandate of placing value on womanhood.
Firstly to CONNECT. God has given us each other to partner together on this journey of life and womanhood. He has positioned us alongside each other to strategically fulfill His purposes... Women of all ages and walks of life experiencing the joy of true sisterhood together.
Secondly to ENCOURAGE. The word encourage actually means to instill courage into another person and this is something all of us can do effectively and be of great impact upon with the women we encounter in our world. It should happen easily & naturally, can truly unlock circumstances and give women the courage to move forward with a sense of hope and purpose.
Thirdly to SERVE. Jesus Himself provides us with the most powerful example of a servant as He came to provide for humanity's greatest need of a Saviour. As a company of women who love Jesus, we can make an incredible impact on the women in our community by being willing to really "get our hands dirty" and serve them at a very basic level just as Jesus did.
To achieve this, we offer several women's Connect groups which meet on various days of the week, some weekly and others fortnightly, in the day and at night. Our combined Women's Ministry is MBCC Sisterhood.
